2023 British Superlite Championship Regulations Changes
Updates to the regs British Superlite Championship 2023
All cars must display any current and future championship sponsors as listed
EBC brakes
All cars must run EBC brake pads which will be supplied at a discounted rate by the manufacturer.
S9
All S9 cars must be fitted with a viper race can with a DB killer in welded as supplied by the manufacturer, no acceptations. If anyone turns up without a DB killer they will only be allowed to compete from the back of the race grid regardless of where they have qualified and will not receive any points in the championship
S10
All cars must have a sealed engine and ECU to compete in the championship and receive points. We will accept an exception if that the car is booked in to be tested and sealed immediately after the meeting but before the next round. Any cars that are not sealed will have to start at the back of the grid no matter where they qualified and will not receive any points in the championship until they are sealed.
Tyres
Unfortunately although he has been a great help Ian Biswell will not be able look after the tyres for this season and he wants to concentrate more on his championship so we will be suppling tyres from now on.
As you all know Avon are ceasing to make the tyres that we use but we have a sufficiently good supply for this season.
We are approaching various manufacturers and will be testing some of their tyres in the hope that we can find a suitable tyre combination that works for all cars and is affordable. Any contributions to the cost of testing these tyres or any input will be appreciated. The more we test the better our chances of finding a tyre that works for all the classes.
